Geocaching is a brand new sport that has recently become popular.  Sometimes referred to as a "technological scavenger hunt", it is an activity where people use GPS receivers to track down hidden caches.  Usually small ammo boxes or Tupperware containers, these cashes are filled with a log book and small objects for trade . They are hidden in various locations around the world with the geographical coordinates posted on internet websites.  The challenge is to use those coordinates to find and log the caches.  The charm of geocaching is that it is a grass roots sport that evolved from the efforts of outdoor, family oriented nature lovers.
